Ugh, I wish I could just enjoy being alive instead of waking up every single day wishing I could just sleep forever and never wake up again. It truly does feel like nobody would miss me if I just disappeared forever.

@thoroughblessed Really now? Well, I guess so, but with my luck, chances are those relationships won't last long, or will be very superficial at best. I guess I'm just going to have to find out for myself.

@JesseGryph Once you’re in the workforce, with or without university credentials, I believe you’ll start forming relationships with the people with who you’ll be trapped at work. When people endure the same bullshit and can’t walk away form each other, friendships are made.

@JesseGryph How much longer before you get to graduate?

@thoroughblessed Not work, but at university. They're all hanging out with their friends. It's hard to get along, because I'm just too different. Even if I did find someone who'd like to hang out with me, I probably won't be able to maintain a relationship because I am terrible at socializing.

@JesseGryph What are the people at work like?

@thoroughblessed When I was very young, I vaguely remember being happy. I recall having a few friends, being able to hang out and have fun, but the relationships didn't last very long. Everyone eventually went their own way, and I lost the ability to form similar relationships in high school.

@JesseGryph What changed between when you enjoyed being alive and now? I’m guessing you once enjoyed being alive.

Unemployment hits differently when you’re a man. Family treats you differently. People lose respect for you. Nobody cares about you and what you say. Family is only nice when you have something to offer. Get up every day and fix your life. The world is very cruel to a poor man.

@JesseGryph I don't know you, Jesse, but I know the feeling you're describing. It's depression lying to you. I promise that there are people who would miss you and they will gladly do what they can to help you because they care about you.
