Thank you to my colleagues - past and present - for their support and advice. And although I will miss being able to call myself a journalist, it feels like the right time for a new challenge working as a press officer🤍

I have been honoured to tell so many people’s stories; I have interviewed inspirational individuals, helped raise awareness of good causes, remembered loved ones with tributes, and reported from courts (while also enjoying some brilliant press trips and opportunities)

Tomorrow is my last day as a reporter for Newsquest after being with the company for more than five years. I started on the Wrexham Leader, then the Warrington Guardian, and most recently the Northwich and Winsford, and Knutsford Guardian newspapers as chief reporter.
