@xcninja5 @Superfan_K My point was OKC and Portland didn't just trade those guys. Dame and PG wanted to leave. OKC and Portland would of been just fine keeping them. Clippers are NOT trading Kawhi unless he asks out. And he is NOT going to. He loves Living in LA.

@JetsClipper @Superfan_K OKC absolutely did sell sky high and it saved their future and they just won. They both knew the writing was on the wall. Dame put up his 1st/2nd best season and Portland still got the 13 seed. PG and Russ wasn't working as it was b2b R1 exits

(quietly) the amount of Clipper fans who haven't yet realized Kawhi is signing a new contract with the Clippers & retiring in that uniform is kind of stunning

Clippers really need to make the playoffs and hope Kawhi stays healthy and has a great playoff series. His value has for sure risen this year but he’s still old and injury prone so we need a great playoff run from him to get max value. He also needs it for his next contract.

@xcninja5 @Mvchivelli @Superfan_K 1) Clippers offered PG the same as Kawhi, but he wanted more money and a no-trade. 2) CP3 was averaging 3 points and 3 assists. No big loss there. 3) No they didn't have to trade him.

To me there are 2 major priorities this off-season for LAC. 1) Kawhi. Huge summer for Kawhi decisions. Literal crossroads for everyone involved. Convos will need to be had. 2) The 4/5. Those two frontcourt spots have the most uncertainty on the horizon going forward.

Look what the Blazers did with Dame after he averaged 32/5/7 on 46/37/91 and even '19 OKC PG Clippers made a mistake with Kawhi's last contract in the middle of the season. Glad they didn't give anything to Harden when he asked

@Alex_PorterEnt @drift2damusiq I would have 0 problem giving up Yanic, Sanders, or Miller for Kessler. L Frank on the other hand wouldn't. I don't think he values the center position as much as wings and guards. There is also no way he gives up assets and pays Kessler 30 million a season.
