The Heat, Sixers, and Warriors should become viable landing spots for Kawhi Leonard if the Clippers star leaves Los Angeles this offseason. There’s belief around the league that the Clippers will entertain offers with Leonard entering the final year of his contract.

Seriously wouldn’t surprise me if this is who L Frank is seriously considering.
Simply because out of all the guards, he’d probably fit the best alongside Garland. And he’s an incredible shooter.

Keaton Wagler says the Clippers would be a great spot for him to learn from Kawhi, play off Garland, and also have the ability to create plays on his own.

Garland has an NBA comparison to Dame, he also heavily studied Kyrie, & when healthy he’s an allstar pg. And not to mention he’s only 26 years old. All this while in a very short span on a new team, averaging about 20ppg, and shooting 40% from 3.

@jon_eng4 @JustMy2Sense_ Perhaps he’s the one. I’m not exactly sure. I do know he can defend better than most of the other guards mentioned. And he’s probably the best shooter in the class.
But, Acuff is the best playmaker. Purely unguardable. His weakness is his defense though.

super athletic: SGA, Luka, Trae. Prime Dame and Steph weren't super athletic either, but Wagler is bigger than Dame/Steph/Trae

@JaylaniBrown_ We don’t know why some players develop into elite shooters or players and why some just don’t.
Jordan Miller developed into a very nice player. Kobe Sanders was literally a rookie and hooping. As well as Yanic before he got hurt.

@Alex_PorterEnt I know I've said this about Acuff and Wagler, but Mara is actually so talented. His court vision, passing, and mobility all at his size are so valuable.
I wouldn't be too upset to move back and grab him so long as the picks we get for moving down are worth it.

It only makes sense for the Clippers to draft Mara if they do a deal to get multiple picks.
Not draft Mara with the 5th pick. Not when Acuff or possibly Wilson will be there. It’s some scouts even saying Boozer may slide. I doubt it, but L Frank has to be extremely smart here.
