@Orens @scooperhoops Fair. I think it’s hard to find needle movers with our situation. We have to keep trying to win on the margins with minimum guys/late picks and buy-low candidates.

@Orens @scooperhoops Exactly. When you’re a team with no valuable picks, and no valuable players you’re willing to trade, you have to take other team’s used goods (Jalen Green).
Not saying I’d be doing cartwheels if we got Mikal, I’d obviously prefer OG. Unfortunately, we don’t have OG money.

@JevonFanClub @scooperhoops Mikal can't play the 4 and isn't even a good rebounder, so what's the point of this? Another buy-low on another 6'6 player with the same shortcomings, but with a longer contract and not as tradable?

I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.

I heard Caruso tell them to call the tech and he ended up doing it. In my 11 years, I haven't called a ref out by name, but James [Williams] was terrible tonight, through and through. It's bad for the sport, bad for the integrity of the sport. People are going to start viewing this as the WWE if they're not held responsible." Regardless of whether you agree w/ this sentiment (think it’s taken on an overblown life of its own, imo) the widespread nature of these complaints, along with the gambling scandal are a much bigger issue for the “integrity of the game” than losing teams sitting players for rest.
