@Amer1can_Barbie What they're doing is trying to run out the clock on DHS funding and the SAVE Act. The closer we get to the November elections, the more difficult it will be to implement it. The Dems also know they will get to cheat at least once more at the ballot box.

@AdaLluch All the national governments of Europe gave up their sovereign powers for a centralized bureaucracy accountable to no country or the people living there. Autocratic rule is the norm for the EU, follow the regulations or face punishment. The EU needs checks on bureaucratic power.

@Ellieinspace Many movies don't exactly follow the book and leave out critical details the director or producer omitted. I've experienced this quite a few times.

I thought I would get some practice reading aloud for the baby by reading the short story that the 2016 movie ‘Arrival’ is based on to my husband last night.
Turns out, reading over 50 pages was quite exhausting, but very cool to see how the book differs from the movie. (I think the only reason I was able to do it was from years of news anchoring experience, but luckily baby books won’t be that long 😂)
Highly recommend arrival if you just saw ‘Project Hail Mary’ and want to see something else quite incredible.
