Writing this with a clear head, taking recent events into account, so no worries. @fogo officially launched the public mainnet on January 15, 2026. A big step from testnet to real network operation. The native FOGO token is already traded on @ValiantTrade, including major exchanges. @gabrielhaines was literally on fire lmao. Well, and few words from myself. I'm not going anywhere, I'm bullish, I believe in Fogo and its future. We're still early.

What can we observe 5 days before the @fogo tge? More than 1b fdv? Less than 1b fdv? Strong demand or thin premarket liquidity? Organic interest or kol-driven hype? Early positioning or late speculation? Fair valuation or short-term excess? A lot of opinions, a lot of narratives. At this stage, we're still dealing with narratives, not outcomes. Some facts are public, many variables aren't. Real price discovery only starts when supply, demand, and liquidity are live. We'll see how it actually plays out at tge.

I watched a recent interview with @RobertSagurton and instead of retelling it, I wanted to share a few thoughts from it. The core idea behind Fogo isn't "another L1", but a trading-first chain designed around composability and fairness. Their main critique of existing setups is that trading engines and smart contract environments often live in separate worlds, which breaks composability and creates first-class and second-class apps. Fogo's approach is to keep everything in one environment. No enshrined dApps, no special access. Every protocol is deployed the same way, gets the same execution path, and competes on equal terms. That's a big design choice, especially for a chain focused on perps and high-performance trading. What also matters is who's designing it. Their perspective is clearly trader-driven, not purely engineering-driven. Latency, market structure, and execution quality are treated as first-order problems, not afterthoughts. The broader takeaway for me is that general-purpose chains aren't going away, but specialization is inevitable. Fogo isn't trying to be everything. It's trying to be the place where trading actually makes sense, while users remain free to move capital elsewhere when they're done. Btw, you should definitely watch the full video, it's really interesting👇

Fresh Updates from the @fogo ecosystem. Let's break down what's been happening lately. 1. Flames Season. The final snapshot for the Flames Season has officially been taken. There are currently no active Flames Seasons. 2. Fogo Fishing. @FogoFishing is gearing up for Season 2. The team has started teasing new mechanics, including far more powerful Rod Upgrades, giving players a strong reason to start stacking $FISH early. More details are dropping very soon. 3. Lil Fogees WL. To celebrate 7k followers on the @lilfogees X: Anyone who holds at least 1 Ember Stone in Fogo dc and registered their wallet within the announced window is now whitelisted for a Lil Fogees NFT. Big congrats to everyone who made it in.

Fast systems are easy to build on paper. Fast and predictable systems aren't. The real problem is behavior under real conditions. Uneven load, timing pressure, users who don't want to think about execution at all. That's where a lot of systems break. What makes Fogo interesting is that it doesn't push complexity onto the user and call it "education". It treats friction as an infrastructure problem. Instead of forcing people to think about signing flows, gas math, or timing, that complexity is absorbed at the system level. Execution is expected to be predictable, not negotiated. This is a different mindset from most crypto stacks. Many chains optimize for idealized performance. Fogo looks optimized for consistency when things get messy. That difference tends to matter in practice. Good execution isn't a UX feature. It's an architectural one. And that's where @fogo seems to be placing its bets.

generation alpha death of crypto or a fresh breath? are boomers tired of crypto? why will UX simplification lead to an influx of people? 2026 has arrived and generation alpha (those coming after zoomers) is getting closer to discovering crypto for themselves. as we know, this generation shows a significant increase in ADHD and here the question arises: how to attract future generations to crypto having the tech we have now (often not the most pleasant UX w/ a bunch of confirmations, waiting for a couple of minutes, spending on fees, etc.)? and how to facilitate and give new opportunities to people who have already been "on this front in crypto" for a long time? i propose to fantasize: let's imagine Joe from generation alpha who is used to daily TikTok viewing where he gives a video a max of 3 seconds to "reveal itself" or skips it immediately, used to playing Roblox where he donates from mom's card for skins w/o confirmations from the bank (he has a limit set by mom in advance via the banking app), and waiting for anything causes him incredible fatigue, irritation, etc. and so, in a couple of years, Joe decides to try crypto, as he is growing up and has a need for money and a new hobby. of course, he tried to figure out which blockchain is better for him to use, but since he is used to communicating about studies and all questions w/ AI his whole life - he goes into it and asks "top blockchain in crypto," to which AI will likely happily answer Ethereum. he will certainly trust ChatGPT since it helped him so often not to get an F, and imagine his disappointment when he is forced to confirm at least 3 transactions for 1 action, wait for the transaction for several minutes, and pay big gas. and also Joe had a grandpa, an experienced trader who traded for many years, also paid insane fees, waited long for transactions (due to which he lost even more), lived through ADL problems, constantly lost due to MEV attacks, etc., and didn't have the opportunity to lose less win more. therefore, as a boomer, he also started getting tired of crypto due to losses, monotony, etc. newcomers aren't coming in, old-timers are getting tired and leaving. @fogo comes to their aid, turning the Web3 experience into something maximally close to Web2. > forget about a million confirmations. w/ Fogo Sessions you set limits once and trade in one click, just like in the familiar web. > you no longer need to count pennies for gas; Fogo simply doesn't take a fee for transactions. > while other networks are "thinking," Fogo has already done everything. a block in 40ms and finalization in 1.4s is faster than Joe can blink. > to achieve max speed, Fogo validators are located in one data center. this physically reduces the signal path to a minimum. > while the signal in other networks flies across oceans, Fogo issues blocks instantly. this is the real "response" level of traditional exchanges. > don't forget about ecosystem projects especially about @ambient_finance which will become a breakthrough and kill all those problems that were killing your UX: MEV attacks, ADL and much much more the conclusion is that to attract new generations and keep old generations involved in crypto and keep it alive, we need to improve UX, which is what Fogo is doing by creating maximally convenient conditions for using their product and erasing boundaries between Web3 and Web2.

Crypto doesn't have a user acquisition problem. It has a user retention problem. People don't leave because they "don't get Web3". They leave because every action feels like paperwork. Multiple confirmations. Waiting. Gas anxiety. Missed timing. @fogo is interesting because it doesn't try to educate users into tolerating friction. It removes it. No constant signing. No gas math. No mental overhead. Good execution isn't a design choice. It's economic infrastructure. And yes, my profile says: "Sharing my personal takes". Because each of you has a head on your shoulders, and that means you shouldn't follow everything I say without thinking. But when it comes to Fogo, I think this is as objective as it gets.

Thanks to @Eukodalsol for really useful event that was held on @fogo dc. We went through real market scenarios, how to read price action without indicators, basic setups, and some live trades with commentary. I'm far from being an expert trader, so a lot of this was new to me, but that's exactly why it was valuable. Solid insights and a good learning experience. This is also why Fogo isn't just a place to grind. If you pay a bit more attention, you can actually find a lot of valuable stuff there.
