@adamjoseph You genuinely think Nemnaja Vidic was better than Van Dijk. Do you know how insane that is.
English

I don't like cross era comparisons, but when Moore, Beckenbauer, Baresi, Nesta, Cannavaro, Desailly, Thuram, Vidic, Ferdinand, Terry, Kompany, Ramos exist, take a place & get in line.
If you believe this you are only demonstrating your lack of historical football knowledge. This is a down era for CBs. Stop letting recency bias, PR & 'aesthetics' make you think he's even close.

@AlexPastoortje @Kashe1dz If you think Chiellini is a better footballer than van Dijk mate, you can’t be helped
English

@Kashe1dz I don’t get it. In the PL he is a great yes, but comparing him internationally, I don’t see anything he’s done that is better than players like Ramos, Thiago Silva, Varane, Maldini, Chiellini
English

This is the most honest analysis of Van Dijk’s level so far, there’s never been anything like him and everyone knows it deep down
Sky Sports Football@SkyFootball
"He's too good for the highest level of football" 👏 Jamie Carragher says it almost feels like there should be another level of football for Virgil van Dijk 🥇

@N0rmalina @Ashley_Majic @LewishamCouncil @LBofBromley It’s an actual shambles. Nobody doing any road works. No roads dug up. Just random lights and cones for the craic.
English

@Ashley_Majic @LewishamCouncil @LBofBromley Honestly, it’s a shambles!!! Literally every road you turn down has temporary lights or is closed.
English

The amount of roadworks and temporary traffic lights in Sydenham/Crystal Palace is an absolute mess. Whoever authorises these?! @LewishamCouncil @LBofBromley

@JackPittBrooke You like Oasis, others don't. You rated Gerrard, others didn't. What exactly is your point?
English

@StevenMcinerney Your nonsense is so painful mate. You’ve won the title 4 times in a row. Chill. Why would you care.

@_Wolfenden Large flags spoil the view for most of the audience and BBC coverage. It’s the main reason we tend to avoid the headliners when we are there. Surely the acts are more important than getting your flag on the telly.
English

@StevenMcinerney You come across very reasonably about it, mate.

I don't expect rival fans to care for one second, but I think its okay to admit as a City fan that you're a little weary of all this. The football has been amazing, but there's no denying that for some of us the noise is incredibly draining. We didn't ask for this as fans and it's not fair of us to have to go in to bat for the club time and time again, regardless of where we may stand individually on the cases. Some of us just simply want to be football fans and that's okay.

John Stuart Mill's "Tyranny of the Majority" was about oppression of smaller groups. #MCFC are not oppressed. They've built a magnificent football team. They've got the Footballer of the Year and one of the greatest managers in history. They've got £100m subs. They've just won a 4th successive title so are hardly being victimised. Clubs agreed the rules. Sponsorship deals should be "fair market value". So who on earth advised City to take this action? It damages them. It diminishes the admiration stirred by their football. It alienates most other clubs. It harms the Premier League which should be about the sport but has become as much about the business, the money and the politicking. The only winners in all this are the lawyers.

Like most people, I initially thought Letby’s guilt was obvious. But based on the evidence published in the recent New Yorker piece, it is very possible a miscarriage of justice has happened here and that a nurse has paid the price for a systemic failure. news.sky.com/story/lucy-let…

@James_LFC6 @SimonBrundish @babylonpink @SkySports @footballontnt @TheAnfieldWrap Klopp didn’t ask for money because he gets paid millions every month. The content produced costs money. Getting angry at that is the same as getting angry at Sky and BT. They could and perhaps should have released it for free. But they haven’t done anything terrible.
English

@SimonBrundish @babylonpink @SkySports @footballontnt @TheAnfieldWrap Business of skimming people when someone gave the interview for free 😂
English

It’s a fucking business!!!
Literally how they feed their families
It’s not your right to see it
Like it’s not your right to see the interviews on @SkySports or @footballontnt

@johngibbonsblog @stephen19browne Mate. It’s fucking good craic. Dunno what else to say.

@stephen19browne I can’t get my head round it but people love it so maybe it’s boss or maybe we’ve all lost our minds
