I captured this video here of the moment the first round of warning sirens went off at 3:23 pm. The warning sirens are set to sound again one more time at 6:10 pm. We are safe and will stay on higher ground. Will update here as we learn more.

HAPPENING NOW: Tsunami warning is in place for the entire state of Hawaii after 8.7M earthquake hit Russia. People in low lying areas are being urged to evacuate and take shelter on higher ground. Officials say the wave arrival time is 7:10 p.m. HST.
