@Alexszamora @LatinXChem Aunque es importante mencionar que este tipo de DES son los más reportados y en ocasiones los que ofrecen los mejores rendimientos de extracción. Todo dependería de los objetivos de la investigación.

@Alexszamora @LatinXChem Hola Alex, muchas gracias. Respecto a tu pregunta, no probamos el uso de DES basados en cloruro de colina. Nuestro enfoque es obtener extractos que puedan aplicarse directamente en alimentos ya sea como colorantes o saborizantes.

@NinaSalau @LatinXChem Regarding the purity of the compounds and in the specific case of bugambilia, research is still needed to address the effect of different compositions or water contents in the NADES on the profile and/or purity of the extracted compounds.

@NinaSalau @LatinXChem Thank you so much! Based on studies with other plant matrices, we know that the water content in the formulation of eutectic solvents plays the most important role. A water percentage between 30 - 40% ensures the highest extraction yields.

@JeremyMCarr @LatinXChem In my group we tested the antioxidant activity of the fructose eutectic solvents. In the determination of total phenolic compounds, a method also based on reduction oxide reactions, we obtained concentrations in the range 0.003 - 0.05 mg gallic acid/mL
