Over the years, ISKCON helped build cultural influence, the RSS and the VHP expanded and organized that influence, and the BJP translated it into political power through policy and state institutions. India presents itself as an independent and assertive power, but a closer look at its institutional trajectory, financial networks and strategic outcomes makes it hard to ignore how these organizations have served broader foreign geopolitical interests.

Yes, that's one reason, but if you look closely, he's also trying to give this protest some legitimacy. It's been a huge failure because its participants are overwhelmingly Hindu. Every major protest, resistance movement or mass agitation that gained real momentum, regardless of the outcome, had Muslims on the front lines. Whether it was the resistance against British colonial rule or the anti CAA NRC protests, Muslim participation gave those movements far more weight. He's trying to tap into that perception to make his own protest look more legitimate. Muslims should stay away from this pointless protest and invest their energy in something that actually benefits the community instead of backing people who seek our support, advance their own cause at the expense of our lives and careers and then abandon us when it matters most.

Congress is allowing this in their states to consolidate Hindu votes. I said this before, India's political landscape is changing. It won't be left vs right anymore. It'll be the right competing with the far right over the same Hindu vote bank.
