well, it’s back to the city for me…for now! give me 11 weeks. i shall return.

I meant to photograph the house in the distance, but my camera focused on the wildflower closer to me instead. It was deliberate. i once dreamed of buying that old house and bringing it back to life. I returned to find it lived in already, its story continuing with someone else. Some dreams are simply meant to be admired from afar.

Power utility giant Manila Electric Co. i think todays smartphones keep us up at night more than when we just couldnt sleep... so “insomnia” wasnt too much of a problem back then. But i do remember falling asleep while chatting with a friend on the phone,

used to be so quiet here, you could walk 8km to the next town leisurely and safely. but now theres more construction, stray dogs- they shortened the scenic route. i had to hitch hike after 2km of new “mountain inns”. i honestly didnt feel safe

@WayneMoranPhot0 i recently visited this Catholic mission church in the Philippine Cordilleras. built in 1914. it survived World War 2 and remains intact today. im hoping to visit and photograph all of them.

at a small bikers’ carinderia in Mountain Province. red rice, pinapaitan and banana. the pinapaitan was intensely bitter so i couldnt finish it. 😔 i just pretended to get a text message and leave .
