I was in a plant (as in the organism) engineering FB group run by the guy in the pic, and I ended up there because I was part of a team called @Friendzymes, which competed in @iGEM, a genetic engineering student competition. @JustOneGiantLab was our connection, the open science platform that funded Project Accessible Genomics. Anyhow, just weird how this appeared through Yatharth, who I'm connected to mostly by being adjacent to tpot and sharing a common scholarly interest in anthropology.

The idea is that once the a company or non-profit has been "blessed" 😇 by the Light Star (through a vetting process), it will only take 1-2 weeks for several VC firms and/or venture philanthropy institutions that are part of the Light Star to have funded the org 🤯 We need our best builders to be focused on BUILDING. Not spending 30%+ of their time asking for money.
