@AnthonyGambino_ @Hoopss Only one of these two got defensive player of the year before, and it wasn’t Kobe. MJ easily wins this game 7

If these two met in a Game 7 of the Finals, who is walking away with the title? 🤔

The Lakers maintain their No. 4 seed and home-court advantage all due to LeBron James. Despite being underdogs last night, LeBron single-handedly willed the Lakers to a win against the Warriors. Since Luka and Reaves went down, he’s averaging 28 PPG, 13 APG, and 9 RPG… at 41-years-old. The definition of greatness. 👑

@Zak284459427469 @MambaArchives Kobe barely making the playoffs that year is an accomplishment within itself. Take Kobe off that team the Lakers are barely winning 15-18 games. Not to mention in the West…

@MambaArchives No he wasn’t. Lebron and dirk have more of an argument. Kobe might have been the best offensive player or scorer ( he took 27 shots per game) but he wasn’t the most valuable because his team barely made the playoffs. Steve was the reason the Suns were the 1st seed.

Kobe’s career FG% is 45 percent which is held against him by dorks. It’s basically shooting 9/20 instead of 10/20 and because that one extra missed shot matters so much the rest of his game and legacy is dismissed. Completely ignoring Kobe guarding on the other end and playing within the triangle offense meant to take shots out of his hands.. I don’t even want bring up popular argument points like him beating the most 50 win teams in the playoffs because the more you being it up the more it falls of deaf ears. People don’t want to hear that because it doesn’t align with their world view of Kobe. I know damn well what I saw, I knew what the stakes were and I saw who rose to the occasion over and over again.

@LakerCj He's a worse 3 point shooter than LeBron btw. Lower % on less attempts per game. Go figure.

@Finishurbkfst23 Bron got 2nd place in a poll he didn’t play for all of it. This poll doesn’t mean he was the best for 10 straight years It just means as a whole. By 06 Bron was already outperforming Kobe at 21

The reason Kobe haters hate this poll is because it blows a huge hole in their narrative. Social media was in its infancy. This is one of the most accurate snapshots of how fans felt at the time. The only reason they hate it is because Kobe's on top.

I could make a compelling argument that Kobe was never the best player in the league in any season never mind for a decade straight. And nobody at the time thought he was, at least outside LA.

With Luka and Austin out till at least the playoffs should the Lakers bring CP3 out of retirement??? Lakers desperately need guard play and he is eligible to play in the playoffs unlike Cam Thomas. Is it time CP3 becomes a Laker? Via (@SocialSight)

@LukaUpdates Definitely C. In hopes Houston falls to the 6th seed. I believe Bron and Reaves can beat Houston in 6 or 7 without Luka

What camp are you on right now as a Lakers / Luka fan? A: Season is over. Already start focusing on summer Free Agency and Trades. No hope for us anymore this season. B: Bring Luka back asap. He has lead a team to finals before while not 100% healthy... he wants to play! And then hope for the best. C: Trusting and believing that team can go to 2nd round without Luka and rejoin Luka during 2nd round when he will be at 100% again.

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic is out indefinitely due to a left hamstring injury, sources tell me and @mcten. He will miss the remainder of the regular season and his status is uncertain beyond that.
