Why Now?
Why Now?@DemzRnuts·
I believe the biased poll but regardless, outside of his big mouth, he's probably one of the greatest presidents we have ever had. Despite massive Democrat opposition, he has done a remarkable job. If not for the Democratic Party, America would be the most prosperous nation on the planet. Democrats are doing everything in their power to oppose progress and in fact, vow to destroy everything Trump has done for our country.

@ValarrMurghulis @ClownWorld Unaffordable schools - democrats Unaffordable housing-mass immigration - democrats Unaffordable Obama care - democrats. Democrats don’t do capitalism. They TAKE and TAKE and ruin things.

Because many young Americans aren’t romanticizing the failures of socialism abroad they’re reacting to the failures of capitalism at home. Crushing student debt, unaffordable housing, and medical bankruptcies make “escape” feel less like freedom and more like survival. Different generations, different battles.

Serious question: Why are so many young Americans romanticizing socialism when millions of people around the world spent decades trying to escape it?

You missed the part of coercion by politicians and govt officials who keep a large pot of the proceeds for themselves. They get the nice lake houses. They get the bullet proof cars. They send their kids to expensive diplomat schools -while everyone else is forced to take what they’re given. That’s not smart. Leave me alone and I’ll make my life beautiful. I don’t need any help from control freaks and grifters.

Genuinely, socialism is the best sounding system. It makes perfect sense for a society to work together to elevate the living standards of everyone together. It makes sense that if someone builds something of enormous value, we accept that it was inevitable that it would have been created at some point and that it was society as a whole that went into the discovery. It seems fair that we would all accept that people have vastly different abilities that yield very different commercial value. How unfair that the person who is naturally good at negotiating a roll-up acquisition strategy is wildly more rewarded than the nurse who returns someone to health or who allows someone to die with dignity. Honestly, I see it. I understand it. The issue is that we are primates running on ancient software. We don’t do stuff for the collective good, we do stuff for our kids. The person who strives for an A on the exam doesn’t study if the grades are equalised. The entrepreneur doesn’t start the company when half the rewards are redistributed to those who didn’t - even though they couldn’t. We’re happy sharing to an extent but we’re not content to put it all in the pot. We’re happy to help those who clearly cannot survive on their own but we’re not happy supporting those who don’t want to work or who struggle to get motivated or focused. Socialism is the smartest system but it doesn’t actually work and has never worked. Really smart people like socialism because they can see how much better society could be … if only it worked. Even John Lennon kept the royalties to Imagine. His heirs will never need to work again from that one song alone. If he truly believed what he was saying, he would declare that it belongs to “all the people living for today”. Capitalists accept human nature. We know there is a better way but we know it’s out of reach. We understand that if you can harness self interest in a pro-social way you will lift living standards enormously. The restaurant owner will feed the village not because it’s good for society but because it’s good for his kids… either way the village is fed. John Lennon will write uplifting songs … but only if he owns the rights. The most important part about capitalism isn’t that it’s better - it’s not. It’s that it actually works in the real world.

In 2015 I began to shout from every platform I could that Democrats were now a new age socialist party that would turn to communism. Many laughed and dismissed my warnings. Today 66% of Democrats have a favorable view of socialism while only 42% have a favorable view of capitalism. Sadly I was right. And things will get worse with them (and more violent) before they get any better. My new warning is this: This ends in a very, very dark place if we don’t stop them now. Communism is the greatest threat to the human race and communism is the inevitable next stage when socialism fails. And it will fail. "But what about Norway?!? Let’s do socialism like them!" Norway relies entirely on capitalism and a sovereign wealth fund that makes its money via early investments in American businesses. Many of which are fossil fuel companies by the way, which American leftists demonize. Their fund is the largest in the world from those early investments. For America to operate like Norway, we’d need to discover a planet just now getting deep into fossil fuels, invest in it early and profit. Oh and their money would have to be validated as exchangeable with earth’s money. That’s the scale at which we’d need to do things for the US to operate like Norway’s model. But American leftists are functionally retarded so they don’t understand this. They think you can tax @elonmusk and @JeffBezos and it’ll pay for everything to be free. They have no idea how monetary policy or how an economy really works. Punitive taxes on Elon and Jeff + other billionaires would only force stock sales that kill investment into new companies, start a recession and throw our markets into turmoil… which means pensions, retirements and savings of average workers all get blown up. Oh and people get fired. Lots of them. So once that fails and they run out of other people’s money: They turn to communism. That’s when people start dying in large numbers, getting thrown in gulags for wrongthink, etc. Bottom line: Stupid people can be deadly. Try to wake up as many people as you can so we can avoid the darkness that will follow. And modern Democrat politicians deserve our contempt. They know exactly what they’re doing.
