Republicans have refused to take a strong stance against Trump’s war because they’re afraid of him. No hearings. No serious oversight. No accountability. Republicans refuse to do their job, so @SenateDems will force another War Powers Resolution. This will give the @SenateGOP a simple choice: Stand with Americans and end this war—or stand with Donald Trump and keep it going forever.

Americans want ICE and Border Patrol reined in. Democrats passed a bill TWICE that would easily fund all of DHS, aside from ICE and CBP. But House Republicans would rather bog down the Senate in a partisan clown show with their reconciliation proposal. Republicans could open DHS today if they wanted to, but they are choosing to bow down to Trump and Stephen Miller.
