TrumpRX is now online. The website lists drugs at reduced rates, with coupon codes to be used at participating pharmacies or directly through manufacturers’ sites. It’s part of President Donald Trump’s pledge to lower prescription drug prices in the U.S. But health policy experts caution the impact will likely be muted, especially for the 85% of Americans who have prescription drug coverage. @TheStephSy speaks to @ddiamond to learn more.

The Trump administration's plan to end temporary protected status for Haitians in the U.S. was blocked Tuesday by a federal court in Washington, D.C. The program, which allows Haitians to live and work legally in the U.S., was set to expire yesterday. Letting the program expire would have left roughly 350,000 people vulnerable to deportation. The Trump administration plans to appeal the court's ruling. Stephanie Sy (@TheStephSy) reports on how the uncertainty has one Ohio city bracing for what's next.

Measles, one of the world’s most contagious diseases, was declared eliminated in the U.S. more than 25 years ago. But, measles cases have been skyrocketing in the U.S. since last year. This comes as vaccination rates continue to decline, and that accelerated during the COVID pandemic. @TheStephSy speaks to @cmyeaton for more.

Protests across Iran continued to grow despite a nationwide blackout implemented overnight. What started as street marches against crippling inflation in the autocratic state have quickly grown to become one of Iran’s largest protest movements in years. @TheStephSy reports.

Wednesday marked one year since wildfires set parts of Los Angeles ablaze, killing 31 people. And there's still anger and pain over the response to those fires. In two of the hardest-hit areas, Altadena and the Pacific Palisades, residents are grappling with the long process of trying to rebuild their homes and their communities. @TheStephSy reports from Los Angeles on the struggles both communities still face to rebuild.

Lead is a key element in your car battery, and it is expensive to produce domestically. Because of this, U.S. automakers often use recycled lead produced overseas, a practice long framed as an environmental success story. A new investigation by The New York Times and a nonprofit newsroom called The Examination has found that the recycled lead used by U.S. auto and battery manufacturers is both not safe and linked to dangerous lead poisoning. @TheStephSy reports.

“Downton Abbey,” the beloved historical drama of charm and wit, is coming to an end. At its peak, it drew more than 13 million viewers — the most-watched drama in PBS history. It’s going out with some flair, with the movie “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” out in theaters now. @TheStephSy sat down with show creator Julian Fellowes to learn more.

On Friday, a 20-year-old Palestinian American was beaten to death in the West Bank amid a surge in Israeli settler attacks on Palestinians. Saifullah Musallet is now the fifth American to be killed in the occupied West Bank by Israeli forces or settlers since the war in Gaza began. According to the U.N., more Palestinians were injured in June from settler attacks than in any month over the last two decades. @TheStephSy spoke with Musallet's cousin, Nizar Milbes, as the U.S. demands accountability.

Today, especially, I am so grateful for all my colleagues @NewsHour. Even while we were being "de-funded" by Congress, the flurry of messages on Slack I got were about our work, not about us. Tune in tonight for the latest on #Syria and all that is important to know.

Native Americans and Alaskan Natives have experienced disproportionately high rates of murder, rape and other violent crimes for decades. Experts say it's an outcome of generational trauma and systemic abuse. @TheStephSy reports from New Mexico, where a lack of law enforcement resources is just one reason why so many of these cases are never solved. This story is part of our series, Race Matters.

In a social media post earlier this year, President Trump threatened tariffs and sanctions against Mexico, claiming the country violated a 1944 treaty and is stealing water from Texas farmers. It's part of a long-running dispute over shared water in the Rio Grande River, a dispute that scientists say is exacerbated by higher temperatures, increasing extreme weather, and a greater demand for water. @TheStephSy reports from Texas for our series on the impact of climate change, Tipping Point.
