Gov. McKee just elevated former Senate President Montalbano to Chief Superior Court Justice. This is not long after he made former Senate Majority Leader McCaffrey a district court judge. Without a doubt, being associated with the General Assembly or connected to Democrat politics is the best path to a judicial seat in Rhode Island. It is completely wrong.

@KenBlockRI It is shocking that you have not able to discern that Ms. Gregg and other far left media members are working in an unofficial manner for the Helena Foulkes campaign. McKee administration has made errors but nothing compares to what the opiod queen did to people while at CVS.

Working with the RI Board of Elections' campaign finance data is dangerous. I say this because when you download data from their system and only look at one type of transaction, like contributions or expenses, you don't know whether that number is valid. Why? Because when a filing is amended, the old number is left there, and the new one is added. This nearly tripped me up on a piece that you will most definitely want to read. Coming tomorrow, I believe!

Have you noticed how many politicians and partisan people say they disagree with most of what I say? Even in some private communications, some elected officials go out of their way to tell me they "disagree with most of what you say." I hear this from Democrats and Republicans. How is this even possible? Maybe Dems don't like "fiscal restraint," but GOPs sure used to. Many Republicans think the social safety net is bad, but Democrats sure don't. How can any elected official ignore the monumental debt problem plaguing our cities and towns? Advocating for shoreline access is bad? Holding elected officials and other public servants - regardless of party - accountable is wrong? Can anyone (except a few RIDOT employees and some folks in the Governor's office) seriously state that I am dead wrong about the bridge disaster? Fair and secure elections are bad? There is a way to get both of those things. Is this a symptom of what our society has become - one where a single difference of opinion means you must be shunned? Or is this a textbook example of confirmation bias? Confirmation bias, and I am paraphrasing heavily here, is essentially selective hearing. Individuals with confirmation bias tend to seek out information that conforms to their worldview. When faced with a different viewpoint, they choose to rationalize it away, claiming it is fake or false, attacking it, and/or never going to that source for information again. I can't say for sure what it is, but it sure is weird being told by a bunch of folks at opposite ends of the political spectrum that we share little to no common ground.

The President threatens to "nationalize elections" - what does the Constitution have to say? Plus: the midterm season gets under way - and local food pantries brace for more federal cuts. Join @KenBlockRI @profwschiller @hummel_report tonight @7/Sunday @ noon @OSMediaRI

There is one mechanism in most states for "mail ballots". You fill out an application. If the application is approved (meaning it passed whatever validation checks the state has), you are mailed a live ballot at the proper time. There is no legal difference between "mail ballot" and "voting absentee ballot." You have to fill out an application, and if approved, you are mailed a ballot. You might be getting hung up on "automatic mail-in ballots", which are states that conduct their elections 100% by mail ballot. Outside of those states, no state has a differentiator between "mail ballot" and "voting absentee ballot." Most mail ballot processing includes signature verification checks. If you want to have a continuing dialogue, consider backing off on your invective. For the record, there is no proof anywhere that massive voter fraud has been identified. None.

While RI Dept of Administration Director Jonathan Womer lost his job due to the badly botched state payroll system upgrade, he was not directly responsible for the fiasco. The state employees who procured and oversaw the rollout of the system failed their boss, state employees, and taxpayers. The state has had far too many computer project screw ups. The place to clean house and upgrade capabilities and competencies is right here.

And what does this evidence say to you? I read 20 here, and an uncertain number here; other claims are "overstated", etc. This isn't proof of fraud. Proof is, "we were able to confirm x cases." No caveats. No uncertainty. This post proves my point. You did not show me thousands (or even 1,000) cases of proven mail ballot voter fraud. Voter fraud isn't being misregistered or falsely registered. Voter fraud has to involve actually casting a vote.
