This is how I feel about her ngl, and idk if something got lost in the translation but like they wanted me to care about her being dutiful and sacrificing herself to protect others (at least during the first half of the patch) but I'm like...it's not working for me😭

the problem with some fictional characters is that they have nothing to offer beyond vibes and a pretty design. their stories feel like they exist for show, with no real meaning. these characters make you feel nothing, and imo, indifference is the worst possible reaction to art

I love wuthering waves to bits but even I can say they executed way more hype presentation than wuwa and the boss presentation in here is very much on par if not better.
But either way I love both in their own way

For me open world gachas need to retain players by staying fun and engaging even after the story is fully done.
They will have down times but at the same time there should be something fun to do atleast every week
