surrounding yourself with people that love you loudly, publicly, privately and behind your back is such a refreshing feeling. Especially in the streaming sphere. Always seems like there’s ulterior motives, hidden jealousy, backstabbing and whatever else.. But I never have to worry about this with the people I surround myself with.

HOW DO I KNOW IF A VTUBER IS A FAKE BOT ACCOUNT AND NOT REAL

@haelkun a lot of poeple are saying that if they have pre-debut in their name or bio theres a good chance of bot. Which is so sad cause there could be new vtubers that could be seen as bots and it makes people not want to interact with them :(

@ShowyVT I check to see if they actually stream. Not to be a pre debut anti or anything but if you have literally ZERO proof you stream or make vids or exist in general, I ain't buying it.

This section is in the screenshot very, very useful. While it's not hard proof of anything, engagement farming is very profitable in some regions of the world. America is NOT one of them. Often, they're not bots but actual people. (Robots, ESPECIALLY intelligent ones, it turns out, can be quite expensive.). The discussion might still be useful in the comment section. Also, look at these things: 1. A complete and utter lack of any content. No even "test streams" for example, no YT videos, no nothing beyond that X page. 2. Look at the posts carefully. Are they repeats of things that went viral? Do they seem "baity"? 3. Is there a complete lack of anything personal from the person in question? I don't necessarily mean things that break anonymity but people tend to have their own unique takes, quirks and other things that don't help in engagement farming at all that they still want to share. The absence of these things is a sign. None of this is "hard proof", but if you see these things happening, you can eliminate all reasonable doubt.

@Cernos_02 i havent really seen a lot of commission / art styled ones i only saw pre-debut ones

1. Check if they stream 2. Check if they post anything besides replies/reposts 3. If they dm dont open links and if they ask for you to buy art they a scammer (most have a sob story or aren't creative) 4. They normally have a huge amount of people they follow while not many following them, you can look at who's following them and the accounts are often other bots that look the same. 5. Almost all of them have "open dm for commission" with a ton of emojis in their name or "pre-debut" follow by the commission. 6. Over time you notice that the "work" they post is often the same copy paste design or logo sheets other bots and scammers use After awhile you just spot them pretty easy

@ShowyVT If I'm really unsure, I go to their TwitchTracker and see if they have ever streamed before.
