@KTHopkins He was protected to a degree, he was somehow given Steve Wright's job and then the top job on Radio 2, all when the BBC knew of these allegations. How was that possible?

I’m still hoping that @Ofcom will reverse its decision and let BBC Radio2 extra go ahead and bring you a radio station unlike any other and all the archive that we have paid for to be heard and not wasting away on a shelf. Commercial radio is aloud to put on radio stations without all the red tape but the BBC are stopped from doing so, even on its own app @BBCSounds I find this quite ridiculous. I hope someone somewhere realises this is totally unfair.

Rip David Johansen. It was the beginning of my career when I worked with him on “Let It Ride,” and he was so kind and funny. In the morning he would play Louis Armstrong in the makeup trailer which put everybody in a good mood. Towards the end of the movie, when the horses are surging towards the finish line, the AD yelled through a bullhorn “Everybody is totally invested in the outcome!” And David whispered to me, “Not us. We’re different. We should just be smiling at each other, oblivious to the race because we are happy we have discovered love. And so we did. ☺️❤️
