My position still stands. Updated to be in full support of Restore Britain.

Right. I've had enough of this bullshit. Yes. The SNP are awful. Truly, deeply awful. Yes. I despise the SNP. Absolutely despise them. I also despise the Tories and Labour. They are the Uniparty. I also despise the Greens, Lib Dims, Alba, and the rest. Sure, the SNP could keep hold of my constituency, Livingston. But I'm not going to vote for Labour. Ever. Yes, even if that means Bardell keeps her seat. Why? Because I've had it with the Uniparty. I refuse to hand my vote to the Keir Starmers, the Ed Millibands, the Angela Rayners, and all the rest of the commies. I also refuse to give my vote to the SNP, Alba, Tories, all the rest. You can hate me for my stance. I don't care. You can keep repeating bUt ThE sNp WiLl gEt ThAt SeAt AgAin!!11!!!!onetyone. It doesn't move me. It's YOU and The Majority who are not seeing the big picture here. Not me. The big picture is this: If a particular party can't properly campaign to garner enough votes to win here, that's their own goddamned fault. Not mine. If I, as an individual, choose to vote for the party that best represents my own views and policies and political wishes, then that's who I - in a fucking democracy - will vote for. There should NEVER be any need for tactical voting. Tactical voting is a symptom of a disease. The disease is this: The other parties are failing to represent the views, ideas, wishes of the voter base in the democracy. They are failing to reach the people they need to reach. As much as I despise the SNP, let's face the facts, they did manage to reach through to enough voters and garner seats and even just enough to gain power in Holyrood. Whether they managed that via shenanigans, lying, scheming, changing the goalposts, appealing to the basest populism? Doesn't matter. The fact is, none of the other parties reached the level of "success" that the SNP managed, because they've been completely fucking useless at this game for decades now. So I refuse. I refuse to play this game any longer. I will not be part of the symptom nor the disease. I want to be part of a cure. The cure, for me, currently, is Reform. For certain, Reform will divert votes away from Labour, Tories and the rest. They may even "sabotage" your tactical voting symptom. Well, boo-fucking-hoo. Anyone who's advocating for tactical voting, is acting within the symptom, not the cure. The cure is to completely disrupt ALL of the useless bunch who have been utterly ruinous to the UK and Scotland for multiple decades. Yet, you're all - every single one of you who say "vOtE lAbOuR hErE!" or "vOtE tOrY hErE!" - you are caught in a mind prison where you can only conceive of those two main parties in order to defeat the only party - as much as you or I despise them - who managed to get through to enough voters to gain seats in Scotland in the last couple of decades. It won't be my fault if my vote for Reform means the SNP retains Livingston. It'll be the fault of the other parties for not getting through to those SNP voters. That's the disease here. The need for tactical voting is the symptom, not the cure. Rant over.

The only interesting words in this piece are "major powers including the US, China and India are not part of the talks." And the reasons for that are obvious. Half the world isn't going to even give this project a second's thought, because a fifth of it has pulled itself out of poverty, another fifth is on its way. The remainder is already there, and doesn't want to immiserate itself like Europe, which is leading this self-destruction, has -- chaos, which will see European countries do 180 degrees on this soon, but not soon enough. As ever for a BBC article, it is what is omitted that should interest us. Why is the United Nations so routinely presented as a neutral entity by BBC hacks? It is an intergovernmental organisation. It is no less drenched in ideology and interests than any government in the world. And by being beyond the reach of the world's population, it is wholly unaccountable, and is therefore wholly corrupt in every way conceivable -- each scandal of which would have brought a national government down. But the UN's image is constantly rehabilitated by journalists who pretend none of it has happened, and that the green agenda isn't as ideological as any early 20th century political movement. The UN -- and the BBC -- has no more idea how fossil fuels can be "ditched" without causing mass death than UK and European governments know how it can be achieved without destroying their economies, likely eventually to the same effect. European governments are now symbols of the failure of the green agenda, while the world is repolarising. Nobody is looking to European governments as a model for their own future, except by virtue of $multibillion slush funds that buy support for UK/EU agendas in UN processes. The UN needs to be dismantled to its core functions, renamed, replaced and it remaining part forever constrained from expanding so far past any legitimate function that it ever had -- if it ever had it. The BBC has proven itself to be nothing more than an instrument of such political projects. And the UK government, to the extent that it is seeking to use the UN to achieve such ideological goals as destroying abundant, affordable energy resources and denying them to all of humanity, reveals that it is neither a force for good in the world, not motivated to represent our interests in the slightest.

Zia, this all sounds well and good on paper, but this sentiment applies to Restore Britain, not Reform UK. How can you honestly post this when you're part of the same party that's been absorbed by the establishment.
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

The whole “unite the right” BS many Tories push is a deliberate psyop. Politics is no longer about right vs left. It’s establishment vs anti-establishment. The establishment must be smashed.

The UK Met Office has again been caught publishing temperatures from weather stations that don't exist. An FOI revealed Lowestoft closed in 2010, yet the Met Office kept issuing official temperatures for it. The office said they were using well-correlated neighboring stations, but the FOI revealed that this was a lie. The numbers were actually coming from a model that was inventing data from 'phantom' neighboring stations. When exposed, the office quietly deleted years of readings for Lowestoft, as well as a number of other stations, and added a disclaimer saying their data is "for general interest only." FOIs also show over one third of Met Office stations never existed, and that real high-quality sites like Colwood are ignored. Also, more than 80% of the network is low-grade class 4 or 5, by WMO standards, giving 2-5C uncertainty. This is the foundation of the UK's climate record – closed stations, imaginary stations and synthetic temperatures. The Met Office isn't credible.

Classic ‘country in decline’ syndrome — bribe folks with taxpayers/borrowed money to win their votes while wealth creation stalls and public services decline. SNP used to do this more subtly. Now it’s quite blatant.

Oh do shut up you stupid woman. Energy costs were the highest in the world before the war. They are even worse now with Miliband's dribbling madness, and of course with your regulate, tax and spend regime destroying the economy.

This is not our war, but it is now pushing up bills for families and businesses. That’s why keeping costs down is my number one priority – and our economic plan has put us in a stronger position to face this crisis.
