Exclusive bombshell investigation in tomorrow’s Sunday Express: The number of people being removed to countries accused of gaming the UK immigration system has plummeted, the Express can reveal. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is under growing pressure to impose visa bans on countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Jamaica as returns to these countries dropped by as much as 88%. And it comes as the number of people claiming asylum from some of these countries surged by a staggering 373%. The number of removals to Pakistan fell from 5,198 in 2015 to 1,237 last year. This is the biggest drop of any country worldwide. Returns to Bangladesh fell from 2,302 in 2015 to 312, removals to Jamaica plummeted from 524 to just 63 over the same decade and the number of people being booted out to Sri Lanka dropped from 1,162 to 277. Critics have accused Labour of “padding out” their removal numbers with Albanians, Brazilians and the EU.

The Home Office is rotten to the core. The people in charge of our borders hate Britain and are perfectly happy with the damage that mass migration causes.

This isn't true at all. Foreign born students with settled status who have been in the UK for 3 years prior to the first day of their course are eligible for student loans. Those with refugee status are also eligible.

NEW: MOJ data shows last year nearly one in five new prisoners were foreign nationals. Migrants are significantly overrepresented in these statistics and politicians need to start facing up to facts. This does not include those migrants who have been given a British passport.

Our country is in a dark and dangerous place. In the last week we have seen: Multiple stabbings in North London - allegedly orchestrated by an Islamist group. A huge police raid on the premises of an Islamic sect in Cheshire for alleged sex offences and forced marriages. Two Afghans charged with rape in Plymouth. A Sri Lankan hotel migrant charged with grooming and raping a teenage girl. An Iraqi charged with sexual assault in Stockport. An Egyptian illegal migrant laughing as he is convicted for rape. An Iranian rapist avoiding prison and instead required to undertake a 'consent programme'. The Iranian embassy call for a British-based Iranians to join a "martyrdom programme". What have politicians done to our country?

Residents were rightly concerned by this religious sect operating in their community. Rather than listen to these concerns - local Labour politicians visited for cups of coffee. We need to stop importing alien and potentially dangerous ideologies.

We need to stop pulling the mass migration lever and start getting our own people into work. You can fix a broken economic model, you cannot rebuild a destroyed national community and society,
