Today, Christopher, Deyanna, and Paige Ostrouchko were indicted by a grand jury for allegedly assaulting journalist and Turning Point USA contributor Savannah Hernandez, while she was lawfully reporting on anti-ICE protests outside a federal building in St. Paul. Hernandez was allegedly surrounded, physically assaulted, and shoved to the ground — simply because she was identified by the defendants as a conservative journalist. That is NOT “peaceful protest.” These deplorable actions as charged in the indictment will not be tolerated in America, and this Department of Justice will always punish unhinged acts of political violence.

The West Wing actor Bradley Whitford tries to shorten the timeline, suggesting that "we're in an ice age in, like, 10 years," but Gore quickly shuts him down: "No, no, no. It would take longer." "But there are other tipping points, as well, that are as immediate as that," he continues, sharing a W.H.O. prediction of 1 billion "climate migrants" in 24 years. And, rather than worrying about what those migrants might do to the host communities they enter, Gore frets about the "heightened risk of xenophobia" that comes from "too much too quickly." "If a few million migrants from the Eastern Mediterranean into Hungary and central Europe caused Orbán and contributed to Trump... can we even imagine what 1 billion climate migrants might cause?
