on video bounties. as much as you want to win, and follow the terms and condition to the t,.. you have to consider first, your audience, and then the product you are selling. if the bounty is about an indigenous brand, say Nigeria-based fintech, curate content that relates to that demographic. it’s okay to rep your culture or country. But if it’s for a global brand, make something you’d find on international tv. imagine making a video for a global brand, and in my short movie, police stops me, or Nepa takes light. Your immediate audience might find it relatable, or funny. But ask yourself, the brand you’re creating for, if they do post it, will their audience find it relatable too? Also, attention span. Except it’s a tutorial or you’re Nike or Apple. You have no business making a video longer than 2-3 minutes. Esp if it’s to sell a product or hype it. Many projects I have worked with, they have requested I make 60-90 seconds videos. I always tell them, if you want attention, it’s better to have 2 (45s) videos than 1 (90s) video. And 9/10 times, that approach works. You’re trying to tell me about a solution that already has 200 alternatives, and it’s taking you 3-4 minutes to explain why I need it. I’m sorry dad. You gotta wrap it up. You’ll get the engagement you need btw, the video will be mad. But will it generate leads, or will it ultimately make you win? Goodnight❤️
