I don’t mind someone enjoying something.
It’s when they are toxically positive about it that I have to push back against it.
“I enjoy this a lot!” Is totally fine, I am a supreme 6/10 game enjoyer.
“This is genre defining and your guys just don’t understand how brilliant this is” for something that is relatively just ok in its execution is where the discourse starts going off track.

I cannot remember the last time a AAA game last posted a “Copies Sold” slide for their newly game release.
It’s always a number of “Players” slide. Wonder why that is?

Unironically yes. One Piece will become classic literature soon after it finishes if not already. The Iliad is like Dragon Ball to One Piece. Natural evolution. One Piece is infinitely more complex drawing from a few extra thousand years of story telling and also better suited to the times.
