I see lots of jobs at centers for teaching and learning. They’re essential for the health of our universities and colleges. I have yet to see a posting for a professor of #highered pedagogy who’d teach full classes for new/future faculty. It’s a shame and a missed opportunity.

@LindsayMasland Not officially in that world anymore but I would have loved to organize a yearly teaching conference (even low-key/informal) so faculty could connect across disciples within the same institution to talk about teaching!

@AcademicChatter Think about 3 important things in your life that fill your cup. Hold on to those things. Schedule them in. Your relationship to those things might change but don’t let other things with deadlines crowd them out. Stay connected to you and your source of happiness/energy/grounding.
