Thought I’d round up my earlier deposit and it’s looking a lot better now 👀📈 Opened this account on 1st April and every spare penny I’ve had has gone straight into it. I know this pace won’t be sustainable forever, but I feel like I’ve given myself a solid head start. The goal now is to hit that first £10k and get into 5 figures 💪 Once I get there, I’ll slow down a bit but stay consistent with at least £1k going in every month. There’s nothing wrong with building a personal brand. But it is definitely worth asking what the real time cost is. If you’re constantly feeding the timeline/ always engaged on X / other socials are you still focused on the long term?

Been away from the screens for 2/3 weeks and missed all the market noise and it’s been oddly grounding. Stepping back reminds you that most of the day to day movement is just noise. When you’re investing for the long term, (which most of us are) you don’t need to be constantly watching to make progress. A nice reminder that doing less is actually doing better. Think years, decades. Not days.

I’m 27, between retirement and taxable I've got 30k invested also investing €700/month 30k + €700/month at 8% growth 30 years = 1.2M I want to do better, what advice would you give me and others in similar situation?
