🌧️After some much needed rain, the fire ban in @BanffNP has been lifted. Campfires are once again permitted within Parks Canada metal fire rings within campgrounds and day-use areas and must be maintained in-person at all times

A fire ban is in place for Banff, Yoho & Kootenay Parks. The fire ban applies to all areas of these parks, incl day use, front & backcountry campgrounds. If you see any wildfires, illegal campfires, or suspicious smoke, report to Banff Dispatch at 403-762-4506 or, call 911
