I don't see how with Claude Mythos we don't end up in a scenario where nation states have to constantly run compute to protect themselves from cyber security vulnerabilities, while simultaneously running more compute to constantly identify vulnerabilities in their opponents It's basically like Bitcoin mining, but on a cyber security level. You can't let your opponent run substantially working if you have targeting your vulnerabilities so you have to run a lot of compute yourself to protect.

Pathetic response. X really has converted to an entertainment and trend platform, not one that connects people. Sure, EFF is dramatizing in that posting here doesnt really require special effort; so they are trading in their X audience to make a statement by leaving. But Elon is telling them they are using it wrong and implying they have an obligation to monitor the algorithmic details. This is oblivious behavior. X has stranded many people that used to have reach. It changed to a trend machine. Like the News, but readers and content are arbitrary and disposable.
