This is the most competitive mvp race this year, I'll just state this... SGA isn't the best player here ok that's clear, he's just on the best team in the nba large part due to him but he's not the best player on this list. Wemby shouldn't be MVP because he had a large stretch where he was a on a long minutes restriction, and that isn't a nock to him at all I think he's done really good and he is the most valuable payer amongst this list, but he hasn't had the best season. Jokic shouldn't be MVP because he's not better than Wemby there I said it. The argument for Luka is that he shouldn't be mvp because his team is a third seed in a conference with two other 60 win teams, and he's averaging 34ppg, 8 and 9 I don't know what else he needs to do to win this award, and for those saying he doesn't play defense, defense is a team strategy, and the lakers have improved a lot since the start of the year.
