You can trade the 29 pacers, your 31, and 33 this offseason with a 2030 swap and 2032 swap if you want to really make a run and get Giannis it's an option, but personally I wouldn't hold onto to Kawhi much longer, see him high while his value is up cause this is as high as it's going to get for the rest of his career probably.

that contract looks so bad it diminishes any value he has and the only reason I'm saying that is because how injury prone he is, when he's playing he's really good do not get me wrong but there's a reason he can't get passed the second round, he can't stay healthy for more than a month ever.

Bulls now have the 15th and 4th picks in the draft, get a center if you can, draft Wilson or Boozer, you have Giddey, Mattas is great, the only thing you really need is an on ball level SG to pair with Giddey, there's a lot of good free agents this offseason, Tyler Herro, Norman Powell, Benedict Mathurin, see what you can get.

Nah still had a great playoffs, this Knicks team just destroyed them and clearly he isn't healthy but that's always the issue unfortunately, and so see if a team is desperate enough to take up his contract, not sure if there will be one but maybe the clippers, his contact is so bad I don't think you can get anything for him tbh.

Depends what the team is trying to do, they don't have control of their draft picks till 2031, you still have Kawhi, you have DG, and Mathurin, you have substantially good role players, do you trade for a star and try to leverage that Indiana 2029 pick to improve the team, because there's no realistic option to rebuild, Kawhi just had probably the best regular season of his career, your were one of the best teams after the horrible start, so maybe try to trade for Giannis if possible, or try to see if you can get Joel Embid this offseason.

That's besides the point, the point is you guys just blatantly tanked the entire year, you don't go from being in a game 7 in the nba finals to the 2nd worst team in the nba by losing 2 players in your starting lineup, I understand you lost your best player but Mathurin and Nembhard isn't like a drastic drop off in that starting lineup either. Huff instead of Turner isn't a major one as well, the Celtics managed having worse players this season and they ended up as a 2nd seed which says a lot about them.

I think the Nets will try to make a trade for that pick swap back and give the Rockets one of the Knicks or Nuggets picks in return, the reason I say that is because the Rockets aren't in need of young talent rn and those future picks are more of a valuable asset the same way the Suns picks were to them then their own, teams can control their own record for the most part and it wouldn't surprise me if one the pick is worth less now because of these new lottery odds, and two if the Rockets just say give us the Nuggets 2032 unprotected first and we'll do it which imo is honestly pretty fair.

Assuming the new lottery proposal goes through: The hope is for the Brooklyn Nets to finish as a team with the 4th-10th worst record in the league.
That would give the Rockets three lottery balls (opposed to 2) which is the best odds at the first pick.

The "3-2-1 lottery" proposal, named to represent the number of lottery balls per team, would expand the lottery from 14 to 16 teams. Teams that do not qualify for the playoffs or play-in tournament but stay out of the relegation zone (spots four through 10) would receive three lottery balls each. Teams with a bottom-three record -- the relegation zone -- would have just two lottery balls but have a floor of the 12th pick while the rest of the 13 lottery teams could fall as far as the 16th pick. The 9th and 10th play-in seeds in each conference receive two lottery balls each while the losers of the 7-8 play-in games receive one lottery ball each. In addition, no team would be able to win the top pick in consecutive years or be able to win three consecutive top-five picks. Teams also would not be able to protect picks in the 12 to 15 slots going forward.
