Seven consecutive walks is so incredibly embarrassing that I honestly can't believe it wasn't the Pirates who were pitching given my history of watching Pirates baseball.

The Reds issued 4 consecutive bases loaded walks to the Pirates in the same inning, tying the record for when the Bucs walked 4 consecutive runs in during Paul Skenes MLB debut. They walked in 6 runs that inning. The Pirates live by the bases loaded walk and die by the walk.

@ChrisMuellerPGH In Paul Skenes debut, he left two guys on. Kyle Nicolas hit Happ. Then walked in 3 straight runs on 12 pitches. Fleming came in and walked a 4th run. Infield single. Two hour tornado delay. Holderman walked Suzuki and Bellinger consecutively. Six bases loaded walks in an inning.

@itsmarkmoran @VApoliticalmeme I don’t think the Commonwealth owns Coles Hill. It’s owned by IsoEnergy, a private company. And the Pittsylvania County board voted against trying to overturn the state moratorium. I was a part of the RPV SCC when Virginia-based investors wanted to mine it.

Virginia has the largest untapped uranium deposit in the US...Coles Hill in Pittsylvania County... VA enacted a moritorium on mining uranium in the 80s... The DOE just announced $2.7 billion for domestic nuclear fuel... I want to put a consortium of investors together to buy it from the Commonwealth. Oh Spanberger you need some more $$$? Ok...sell it to this private group for say $2 billion and let us mine it... Property taxes won't go up, schools can get funded...it's a tempting deal... @rossiadam ur probably the right guy for this
