No. What you say is false. The Moon keeps the same side turned toward Earth because its rotation period matches its orbit around Earth. So there is a near side and a far side, not a permanently dark side. The far side gets sunlight just as the near side does over the course of the lunar cycle. Any Google search would tell you this.
