It’s a serious question because the United Nations pays people—through the UNRWA—to murder Jews and Israelis. @UNWatch has been telling people for years how your tax money is teaching Palestinian children physics by emulating the centrifugal force needed to attack Israeli soldiers. They’ve documented how the UNRWA preaches martyrdom to young Palestinians through the goal of murdering Jews and Israelis. And just this week the @nypost confirmed what the @IDF has said since October 7th: UNRWA members kidnapped and murdered Israelis as part of the act of genocide that was October 7t. A literal SCORE—21—of UNRWA members helped before, during, and after October 7th to kidnap and murder Jews and Israelis with four UNRWA members filmed murdering Israelis. The United Nations is diametrically opposed to peace and Western Civilization. It’s an Orwellian mold pit that engages in revisionist history specifically meant to destroy understanding. The Cave of the Patriarchs and Matriarch—featuring Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and Leah—is a “Palestinian heritage site?” No. No more. No more American dollars going to fake history. No more freedom bucks paying for the murder of Jews and Israelis. No more propping up an organization that is a net negative on the world. At this point, I need to know how many murdered Jews and Israelis is acceptable. Because there’s definitely a quota we have yet to hit, which means to everyone in charge and still funding the United Nations, Jewish blood is cheap, and I’m paying to spill it. Enough with the tough talk about the United Nations. The time for action—defunding, disbanding, and razing the UN—isn’t now; it was more than two and a half years ago.

The neglect of free speech on British university campuses is a national embarrassment — and a risk to our national security. Since coming to power, the Labour government has frustrated the implementation of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023 (HEFSA). While we welcome news from @bphillipsonMP of a new complaints scheme for academics and visiting speakers, it is not enough. Students are still unable to access the complaints scheme promised under HEFSA, and risk financial ruin if they pursue legal action to defend their right to free speech. The Government’s repeated delays in commencing key sections of the Act have created precisely the vacuum that hostile foreign powers — China foremost among them — have exploited. This is illustrated at Sheffield Hallam University, which in early 2025 ordered Prof Laura Murphy to cease her research into the forced labour of Uyghur Muslims in China’s Xinjiang region. Rather than defend her academic freedom and stand up for human rights, the university prioritised the lucrative flow of money from Chinese students. By failing to implement Section 9 of HEFSA — which would require universities to disclose overseas funding to the Office for Students — the Government has left institutions free to take money from hostile foreign states, with no obligation to disclose it and no regulator with the statutory power to act. Over the past six years, the Free Speech Union has fought more than 5,900 cases. Nearly one in 10 relates to universities failing to protect free speech. Britain now ranks lowest of any Western European nation for academic freedom. HEFSA is rightly celebrated — but we must be more ambitious. We need equivalent legislation in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, not a neutered version being implemented at a snail’s pace. It should not require an Act of Parliament for British universities to recognise a free speech crisis on campus — one they have helped to fuel — but evidently it does. This month, Yale University published a self-critical report acknowledging its failures on free speech and the resulting erosion of public trust. The Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) spent more than £500,000 in a bid to stifle free speech. PFEW, which represents 145,000 rank-and-file officers, forked out over half a million pounds to bring in a team of top lawyers after unlawfully suspending two branch officials over comments they made about race. Rick Prior — a former head of the Metropolitan Police Federation — was suspended after raising the concerns of the 30,000 officers he was elected to represent. In an interview with @GBNEWS, Prior said officers were increasingly fearful of challenging some ethnic minority groups, for fear of vexatious complaints or being branded racist. The next day, he was suspended. He was eventually sacked after giving an interview about the situation to @Telegraph. Richard Cooke, another Federation branch chair in the West Midlands, was sacked after using social media to challenge claims that his force was “institutionally racist”. He was then suspended, instructed to undergo Diversity, Equality and Inclusion training, and barred from standing for re-election. The Free Speech Union was proud to support both Rick and Richard throughout. We set up a crowdfunder and were able to bring a judicial review to challenge their treatment. In January, the High Court ruled that the Federation had acted unlawfully and breached both men’s Article 10 right to freedom of expression. The Court also emphasised that commentary on race relations and policing standards constitutes core public-interest speech. The Federation hired a top legal team to fight the case. When they lost, they lodged an appeal before announcing in March that they were dropping it. Details revealed through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request show that the Federation spent £326,427 on solicitors and a further £201,480 on barristers’ fees — including a KC. Chief Legal Counsel at the Free Speech Union, Dr Bryn Harris (@BrynHarris6), said: “The union is dismayed and disappointed to learn that the Police Federation’s misconceived defence of its unlawful actions cost half a million pounds — money paid by taxpayers and from the subscriptions of hard-working police officers. “Parliament has legislated clearly that the Federation must ‘protect the public interest’ in representing police officers. We fail to see how the Federation’s obdurate and ultimately self-defeating stance has been in the interest of the public — or indeed of anyone.” Read more below 👇

Sir Stephen Mitchell, a former senior Treasury Counsel at the Old Bailey and High Court judge, has attacked the Government’s jury trial reforms as a “form of legislative vandalism”. Writing in @thetimes, he says that in over 40 years in the criminal courts he became ever more convinced that the jury was the one untouchable component of the system: “The presence, independence, functions and responsibilities of 12 jurors combine to provide a vital dimension to the overall fairness required of every trial. Over 40 years in the criminal courts I became ever more convinced that the one untouchable component was the jury.” The Crown Court backlog of 80,000 cases is a scandal that must be addressed — but it won’t be solved by slashing our fundamental right to trial by jury. We all know jury trials are not the problem. Let’s not destroy what Sir Stephen rightly describes as “the only surviving jewel in what was once this country’s much prized system of criminal justice”. The ones that live outside of Israel were either Jordanians in West bank or Egyptians in Gaza before 1967 war. But they suddenly became miracularly Palestinians overnight after they lost the war. Go figure.
