Ahhh miss when the lads used to have less than 3 touches before moving the ball. Simple things like a first time pass in midfield makes such a difference to speed of play

Respectfully, I don’t know how you can watch Iraola ball and determine that Wirtz should play on the left. Would be great in the Kroupi 10 role

@Ironkai123 Wirtz can still play the Kroupi role from LW with Kerkez on the overlap. I personally prefer him in the 10 but unless he gets some mobile monsters in midfield, he might have to do with Wirtz from the left.

Iraola has his Senesi (VVD), He has his Alex Scott (Szoboszlai) even though there is room for AS to come too. He has his Kroupi (10) in Wirtz (connector + goal threat) but he doesn’t have a Tyler Adams. That No 6 needs to protect and jump aggressively. #LFC

Never massively rated ibou, thought he was a good 3rd choice when we first got him but nowhere near good enough to be the main man when Virg leaves. I would have kept him, but we can't be given him big wages. Problem is, when Gakpo is on huge wages, other players will want more.
