@Seiurus @n_a_gilbert I was thinking about this too but assumed Beryl was tracking too far east - otherwise I'd be out after our first state record Sooty Tern. And yeah we somehow have 3 frigatebird records at Lake Carl Blackwell near Stillwater, somehow none of them associated with tropical storms.

Welcome to OSU @n_a_gilbert!! And here's a good story. We had our first meet-up to talk shop planned for today. Instead, we found and chased a Bronzed Cowbird (the first record for eastern Oklahoma - pics below) & still managed to talk some shop in the meantime!

We had a "Little Sit" get together for our lab group this morning (like a mini version of a "Big Sit, which is an all day bird count at one location). It was cold but fun and fueled by donuts and @SMBC bird-friendly coffee!
