@LtSaveAHoe Eh, letting bloodthirsty people play at vigilante with no rails isn't good in general. Last year a group of college kids tried to honeypot a "predator" but ended up arrested for kidnapping and assault. I would never want the untrained and unrestrained protecting others

It's very performative. Shameless gave a really accurate depiction of this when we see the character Terry Milkovich getting ready to fight when he learns that a child predator moved into their neighborhood, only for it to later be revealed that he raped his own daughter.

@LtSaveAHoe @PhaidReo @maybe_ghuf victims. if people get off on the fantasy of hunting child predators or we just kill them there’s no actual incentive to create programs for prevention or victim support. & given most children are abused by family, it is shown to reduce reporting so their family doesn’t get hurt.

And further more multiple times have predators pulled guns on these people and shot as them which is a massive risk
