Happy International Women's Day 2026! In celebration, the @NottsOPCC invited Nottingham women's groups to showcase their organisations. Our booking for a stand was long confirmed and on Friday 6th March we headed to the venue to set up.

The #OneYearLater team have sent an invitation to @bphillipsonMP to speak at either Houghton Le Spring (outside her constituency office), or London. As the Minister for Women & Equalities, we do hope she’ll accept. We’ll hold the space for her at both events #SupremeCourtRuling

When I stitched those words, I didn't see this scenario coming. I'm in London today coincidentally, but won't march for the omnicause. #SisterhoodAndSolidarity

The reason transactivists keep losing the argument is that they don’t trouble to acquaint themselves with what the other side actually thinks. @NadiaWhittomeMP seriously believes gender critical feminists want to go back to a time when “gay people weren’t in their face”. Wild.
Nadia Whittome MP@NadiaWhittomeMP

Efforts to narrow the definition of womanhood, police people’s gender expression, and reduce people to their biology don't protect women - they harm us. Attacks on trans rights should never be done in our name. We must stand in solidarity with our trans siblings.

I will never forget the way she bullied and harassed Imane Khelif, who isn't even trans. Rowling is a person full of hate and bitterness.
Variety@Variety

J.K. Rowling says HBO's #HarryPotter series "is going to be incredible" after the first trailer drops: "I’m so happy with it." Twenty minutes earlier, Rowling celebrated the Olympics' decision to ban transgender women from competing in women’s events by writing: “Today’s ruling by the IOC means a welcome return to fair sport for women and girls, but I’ll never forget the scandal of Paris 2024, when people who consider themselves supremely virtuous and progressive publicly cheered on men punching women.” Rowling was referring to the Olympics decision to allow Algeria’s Imane Khelif to compete in the women’s boxing competition at the Paris 2024 summer games, one year after Khelif was disqualified from the Women’s World Championships for failing a gender eligibility test due to elevated levels of testosterone in her system. Rowling denounced the Olympics at the time. Khelif was born female. variety.com/2026/tv/news/j…
