I see a fair amount of C-17s but this one is a bit unusual. We don’t get UAE jets very often. Here is UAF1240 on final approach into Tinker Air Force Base last week.

Good news for once. F-15 WSO recovered alive. Was escaping and evading. Massive fire fight on tgt. Iranians were actively looking for him in the area.

My last view of E-3G AWACS 81-0005 on final approach to runway 36 at Tinker AFB on January 6, 2026 as “Sentry60” and oh what a view it was. Farewell “Balls-5”, this is how I’ll remember you.

F-22A Raptor 08-153 with the 1st FW and 27th FS out of Langley with the quick climb out to 15k feet last week after stopping by for fuel at Tinker AFB.

For clarity, I should also add that “Captain Planet” was also the nickname for this E-3.

@lit_rubricae @teyc Or, 2 things can be true at the same time. We can have air dominance, and still hate to see an AWACS destroyed. I typically just block the doomsday replies along with the trolls and rage baiters. There is no reasoning with them, and there is no need to prolong the inevitable.
