@carolvorders @GreenJennyJones Several years ago, St the revamp of the environmental standard ISO14001, British Standards we're promoting it as forcing companies to deliver Corporate Responsibility. I pointed out Director's hands were tied by Companies House rules of prioritizing profit over everything.

I've written to the Health Secretary calling for the NHS to break with Palantir. This isn't a normal company. Palantir's close ties to the genocidal Israeli military should rule it out of any public contracts.

@Wood_Tedster @KemiBadenoch @UKLabour you cannot get growth if consumers can't afford to buy and exports to our nearest biggest market are restricted by Brexit. Reduced senior management salaries, reduced dividends, retain profits for internal investment and staff bonuses and increase salaries. get money moving.

@KemiBadenoch What @UKLabour have not yet worked out is that you cannot tax your way to growth, and that too many people are net consumers of government resources and not net contributors. The State is too big and we cannot afford it.

@TiceRichard hey thicko, paying customers to use electricity lowers bills. excess solar is required to cover the variability of sunlight and wind which is also the cheapest form of electricity. This is a good thing. Gas is the most expensive and polluting. Your argument fails.

The government has given Trump the right to dictate how much of our NHS budget we hand over to Big Pharma. This is less a trade deal, more an agreement to pay tribute to Trump’s mates. Stop the Pharma deal! thebureauinvestigates.com/stories/2026-0…

Tory peer, Lord Frost: “There’s simply a myth that (the Brexit deal he negotiated) has pushed up British food prices” And here’s what the London School of Economics says… #politicslive

The British people are paying the price for Rachel Reeves’ incompetence. The Chancellor hiked taxes to record levels and doubled down on net zero madness, leaving us uniquely exposed. Right now the Government is coining it in while families struggle. If Reeves wanted to help working people she would abolish VAT and green levies to lower energy bills by £200, and halve VAT at the pumps to give motorists some relief.

@Miss_Snuffy stupid woman, If work paid enough for a single earner to fund a family, this wouldn't be necessary but if both go out to work, on minimum wages, this is an essential service for children to be educated without feeling hungry all day.

They are buying your votes. This isn’t about giving struggling families help. This is about ‘making mornings easier for all families’. Do we really want the state doing everything for us? What about personal responsibility? How infantilising.

If the #JCB Family of Multi-Millionaires are so hard up to pay proper Inheritance Taxes, why are they able to donate SO MUCH MONEY to #Reform Party? Oh ... so they have expectations of #Reform helping out the Multi-Millionaires? Right. Noted. "Party of the People", eh?

I won't ignore your lies. Please explain how the NHS services will be delivered? Will it be through spending public money on private, for-profit services that will cost more, then you will claim that we can't afford it and so start rationing services unless we pay extra?
Dr David Bull@drdavidbull

🚨With just 24 days until the elections, let’s be clear: under a Reform UK administration, the NHS will remain free at the point of need. Ignore the lies.

Brexiters are calling this “capitulation”. It’s not. It’s the UK finally admitting reality: if you want to trade with the EU, you align with EU rules. That’s not surrender. It’s how trade works. theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

"Five UK water companies spent more than £32mn on appeal to raise bills." The Competition & Markets Authority ruled that 4 of those companies would be allowed to increase water bills by a further £463 million. You gamble £32m and you make a £431m return.... good days work I'd say... ft.com/content/0094ee…

Today @CHPIthinktank published a singularly depressing analysis of 760 private firms now providing NHS services in England such as CT scans, hip and knee replacements & mental health support. Companies like Spire & Circle are creaming off billions from these lucrative NHS contracts. £2bn of £12bn worth of contracts went to firms with owners based outside the UK. £533m of this £2bn went to companies owned by people living in tax havens such as Jersey and the Cayman Islands. I find it grotesque that while NHS patients are stranded on trolleys in corridors or waiting months or even years for care, taxpayers’ money is being siphoned off into offshore tax havens & lining the pockets of private equity companies. The government *could* be investing in growing NHS capacity – instead, it has elected to grow private companies’ grip on the NHS, a short-term folly that is already costing patients dear. Madness.
