Honourable Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah today inaugurated the Conclave on "Sustainable Tourism Planning: Designing Tourism for Tomorrow" at SKICC, Srinagar. He emphasized the need to transition towards a sustainable, scientific, long-term, evidence-based and community-centric tourism model across Jammu & Kashmir. Highlighting the 3E framework of Ecology, Equity and Economy, the Chief Minister said it will guide the planning and development of priority destinations across J&K, laying the foundation for a resilient, responsible and future-ready tourism sector. He was accompanied by his Advisor @nasirsogami.

Peddling lies to undermine the transparent recruitment system only exposes the frustration of those who once presided over an era of nepotism and rampant opportunism in public appointments. During #PDP tenure, recruitment was marred by court stays, job scams, and the cancellation of appointment orders due to unfair and illegal practices. The present government has been working to restore credibility, fairness, and transparency to a system that had been torn apart by years of favouritism and political patronage. It is worth recalling that the outsourcing policy was introduced by the PDP-led government in 2017. The transitional arrangements that exist today require review and correction, but attempting to mislead the public for political gain does nothing to address genuine concerns. The legacy of flawed recruitment policies left behind is substantial, and rebuilding trust takes time. Instead of spreading misinformation, the opposition should allow truth, transparency, and institutional reforms to prevail. The MLA gave a patient hearing to the issues raised and assured the people that their genuine demands would be addressed on priority. Speaking on the occasion, Ahsan Pardesi briefed the residents about the various developmental works already executed in the area as well as the projects in the pipeline. He informed them that the upcoming works include the construction of bridges and other essential infrastructure aimed at improving connectivity and public convenience. Reaffirming his commitment to the holistic development of the constituency, the MLA assured the locals that every effort would be made to ensure sustained progress and timely execution of development projects in Barzullah. JKNC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, attended the Majlis-e-Isal-e-Sawab of the late wife of party stalwart and former General Secretary, late Khawaja Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Shah, and the revered mother of former MLA Irfan Shah. Hon'ble MLA Lal Chowk, @ahsanpardesi today conducted an extensive visit to Shivpora, Batwara, Pantha Chowk, Lasjan, Vethpara, Zuv and Soiteng along with senior officials of the Irrigation & Flood Control Department. During the visit, the officials briefed the Hon'ble MLA about the ongoing and proposed works being executed in these areas. The Hon'ble MLA reviewed the progress of the developmental works and assessed the requirements of the localities. On the occasion, Hon'ble MLA held deliberations with local residents, listened to their concerns and grievances, and took stock of the issues affecting the people. He directed the concerned officials to take due note of the public concerns and prepare work plans accordingly to ensure their early redressal. The Hon'ble MLA emphasized the need for timely execution of works and improved coordination between the department and the public to address local requirements effectively. He also appreciated the efforts of the Irrigation & Flood Control Department for the developmental works being undertaken in the area and expressed hope that these initiatives would greatly benefit the residents.
