We’re excited to share that Anchorpoint, a joint venture established by @StanChart (Hong Kong), HKT, and us at @animocabrands, today was one of two being granted a stablecoin issuer licence by the @hkmagovhk, under the Stablecoins Ordinance that came into effect 1 August 2025. Anchorpoint targets to issue the regulated Hong Kong Dollar-backed stablecoins – HKDAP (i.e. HKD At Par) with a phased approach from the second quarter of this year. Our group president @EvanAuyang, commented on Anchorpoint receiving the license: "Receiving this license is a landmark moment not only for our joint venture Anchorpoint but also for Hong Kong's ambition to lead the world in regulated digital finance. From the outset, our conviction was clear: a properly governed HKD-backed stablecoin is essential to Hong Kong’s financial infrastructure. Animoca Brands is honored to have collaborated on the strategic efforts that transitioned this concept from a foundational goal into a functional reality." animocabrands.com/announcement/s…

The agentic web needs an identity layer. Agents cannot transact or build trust at scale without a way to prove identity, reputation, and authorization. @animocaresearch estimates decentralized identity could reach $20B in annual revenue by 2030 as crypto rails go mainstream, AI agents multiply, and regulation catches up. AIR Kit is already live, powering verifiable credentials for 200M+ users. It is an agent-friendly identity toolkit that lets apps issue and verify privacy-preserving credentials with zkProofs, then reuse them across chains and products without exposing raw user data. As the agentic web scales, this becomes critical infrastructure. Agents will need credentials to authenticate, qualify for access, and execute transactions on a user’s behalf with clear permissions and minimal data exposure. Worth a read if you’re tracking where identity infrastructure is heading.

True AI agency has been reserved for engineers running local servers such as @openclaw. Today, we’re changing that. @animocabrands launched @animocaminds together with @Ethoswarm to democratize access to the agentic web. No local hardware, no command-line scripts—just persistent, sovereign AI agents deployed in seconds via natural language. We call them "Minds". Most AI interactions are disposable sessions. Animoca Minds agents are persistent and always-on to abstract away complex blockchain, wallets and infra layers. You aren't just chatting with a bot; you're stewarding your personal agentic specialist. Show us what you can build when the barriers are removed. To support the first wave of "Minds" awakened, I am personally offering a prize pool of 5 @Moca_Network NFTs and 1 million $MOCA for the most interesting and creative deployments. MOCA ID is going to be very critical to the deployment of Animoca Minds in the future to verify your agent! How to participate: Deploy an agent at animocaminds.ai (Market Researcher, Analyst, Trader, Assistant etc.) Participation requirements: 1. Follow @animocaminds 2. Comment in this tweet: What skill(s) did you develop for your AI Agent 3. Bonus entry: Comment 1 fun on- or off-chain identity data you found out about yourself from the AI Agent Animoca Minds works really well in group collaboration over e-mail and @telegram it is still in beta so feedback is also appreciated as the team is constantly iterating!

A quick update 5 @Mocaverse_xyz NFTs have been transferred for the first giveaway, given how quickly @AnimocaMinds has been developing with over 1000 skills, tools and apps already built I'll be doing something bigger shortly with Minds x MOCA ID @Moca_Network

🚨 CRYPTO: ROBLOX OVERHAULS AD POLICY TO TAKE A CUT OF CREATOR SPONSORSHIP DEALS Starting May 4, $RBLX redefines what counts as an ad on its platform. If a brand is paying you or you're promoting an off-platform product, that's now classified as advertising. And Roblox wants its share. The move lets the platform capture revenue from sponsorship deals that previously flowed directly between creators and brands. Until now, Roblox mainly earned through its Developer Exchange fees on in-game purchases. Context: Morgan Stanley projected Roblox ad revenue hitting $1.2B by 2026. Creator studios are already pushing back, calling the platform a competitor instead of a partner. With 151M+ daily active users and 210+ brands active on the platform, Roblox is betting that controlling the ad layer is worth the creator friction.

April 9, 2026. Gradually, then suddenly.
