Made another 🟢$2,000 on an MNQ/NQ trade. But honestly, I probably shouldn't have taken this one. It was way too late in the session almost market close. I didn't even realize how late it was until I was already in the trade. That's not good trading. That said, I'm happy to pocket another 2 bands. This chop wasn't healthy for traders today. I sat through the noise, and waited for the setup. How did everyone else handle today's chop?

Made another 🟢$5,000 from this MNQ trade. I waited for the flush to dry up and for price to start building a base before jumping in. Risk was placed below the low. Scaled out at 1:1 R and moved the rest to breakeven. As the trade went I noticed price wasn't moving with much momentum n started slowing down, so I scaled out again and left 5 MNQ runners at breakeven. what I wanted was for price to clear the 50 MA and the nearby resistance level decisively, but it got rejected. Part of me wanted to keep holding, but I didn't think it was worth turning a 1R winner into a loser. So I chose to protect the trade and let the remaining position work with a breakeven stop. How was my decision making here?

Been spending every day running this, cleaning the weeds out of corn and soy beans. Very important to be on time, and take advantage of good weather. So I try to trade as little as I can, to get out the door.

Who's here that remembers back in the day when people kept shorting TSLA and getting squeezed? 😅 One of the biggest lessons the market taught me: Just because you don't want to long it doesn't mean you should short it. Sometimes the best position is no position. Learn to stay out.

Made around 🟢60 points on this NQ trade. I forgot to start recording at the beginning, so I only captured about half of it. but you can see the fills. Took 5 contracts. Scaled out at 1R and exited the rest at the low. Execution was a little clumsy since I was adjusting orders, managing the trade, and recording at the same time. (not too familiar with this lol) This trade could have been a bit bigger. My final runner was supposed to target around 30,630, but that's alright. I actually took the first short earlier but didn't like the price action, so I got out. After the retest and rejection, I re-entered. what y'all think about this trade ? gotta get this setup better. so it'll be smoother.

@MSroad2millions its mathematically anything that produces positive EV for $ in vs $ out, but that is not as black and white as one metric, many variations of risk, reward, win rate, even leverage model can produce positive EV

Everyone knows what compounding is. Everyone wants the rewards of compounding. Very, very few understand and even fewer can endure the process required for compounding. once you fully understand it you won't play the short term game.
