@ghost_motley I refuse to play on TVs. Give me a good display, like it was intended. And all good displays have DP, especially considering the problems HDMI had with G-Sync in the past.

@ghost_motley The frustrating part is that if you do use HDMI, especially on Nvidia cards, they treat HDMI like second class citizens. Every Nvidia gpu I’ve owned wont display out to a single HDMI display without drivers installed. Also bios will always go to DisplayPort unless you unplug them

It is a shame how IO seems to have regressed since RTX 30.
The RTX 3090 AORUS MASTER & XTREME had 3x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x HDMI 1.4
The RTX 5090 AORUS MASTER & XTREME had 4x DisplayPort 2.1 and 1x HDMI 2.1
It's a shame how 2-3x HDMI ports is not standard.

In all seriousness tho I recommend people powerlimit and/or undervolt their RTX5090 to keep the connector as safe as possible.
I have my 5090 HOF undervolt overclocked and it performs better than stock at about 70% the power.

@gnlune There’s also some games i enjoy watching other people play and I don’t enjoy the game myself. Prime example was Fortnite. I HATE battle royales but watching @Marksman and @I_AM_WILDCAT play that shit was entertaining as fuck.
