@richthejoiner Should it be worded 'Council tax invitation'? If you don't pay it goes to court, if there's no choice then it's a demand unfortunately
English

@Gracie_Blue89 His licence means he knows how to use the roads correctly.....like being able to use a filter lane like that
English

@RodneySter935r @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim You might know 'a bit', as it's your day job of course, but you certainly don't know a lot. Absolute moron. Somewhere in the world a tree is releasing oxygen for you, the rest of us are all sorry for it.
English

@MachLoopWales @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim You want to know the make and model so you can Google the tank size when I’ve already told you it! 😂 I think I know a bit about cost analysis it’s literally my day job. Have a good weekend ya whopper 😂
English

@RodneySter935r @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim Rodney you are clearly as thick as mince, what Mercedes car was it?? Actually, scrap that, you can't even spell Mercedes 👀😵💫 Don't think too hard today Roddy, it's Saturday, don't give yourself a headache babe x
English

@MachLoopWales @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim Are you dense? I’ve already told you the tank sizes! 😂
English

@RodneySter935r @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim I know what you told me. I asked what car the Mercedes was. MPG is not the same as miles per tank. I knew someone who though his new car was better than his old one because he could drive a bit further on a tank. He didn't understand the new tank was 1.5x bigger than the old one
English

@MachLoopWales @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim I’ve just told you the Mercedes has a smaller tank. The MPG was 80+ on motorways in the Merc, rocco never saw past 40MPG on the motorway and could be as low as 18-20 urban driving.
English

@RodneySter935r @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim What mercedes car was it? Comparing miles per tank is still a bad comparison.
English

@MachLoopWales @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim You can right. The rocco has a slightly bigger tank. 50L vs 55L
English

@TWBFarms @Ed_Miliband They don't want to ban burning seasoned logs. Completely false information.
English

2 years of winter fuel, a gym membership, and a heap of therapy… all sitting in one pile 👍💪
100% renewable, sustainable, zero miles, from winter fallen branches
Labour and @Ed_Miliband, want to ban this
Completely detached from reality, this is rural Britain they do not understand

@Fireblade_Jim @modernheroestv Diesel hasn't been cheaper than petrol since 1994. You've only been driving 20 years, but you can remember buying diesel cheaper than petrol when you were driving in 1994? OK champ 👀🫡
English

@modernheroestv Yes they did start buying diesels because they were cheaper to run and the fuel lasted longer. Then the government cottoned on to it, And no I’m not going way back in time either. I’ve only been driving for 20 so I know what I’m saying
English

@Fireblade_Jim @JEUninformed Why is it so important to be able to do it on one tank? You can't visit a fuel station? You dont want to stop for a drink or a toilet break?
English

@JEUninformed Find me a petrol or electric van that can go from Manchester to the south coast and back on one tank and I might be vaguely interested.
Actually I’m not interested in electric so don’t bother
English

@RodneySter935r @modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim Miles per tank isn't comparable unless both cars have the same volume tank. They dont have the same volume tank.
English

@modernheroestv @philsbin @Fireblade_Jim Way more efficient. I had a scirocco petrol TSI years ago and I got 180 miles a tank at its worst and about 230ish at its best, I then get a 2.2 mercesdes diesel and it got 400 miles a tank at its worst and 600+ on motorway driving.
English

@paullewismoney It won't even be £37 each. It'll only be for vulnerable people, low incomes etc....the majority will get nothing, while a few will get more than £37
English

@solisvogel @NetzerohomeUk @duncsand Typical house usage is 8-10kWh per day, call it 10, saving £2.90 per day, so a £4k battery install has a 3.7year pay back time, saving just over £1k a year. In year 4 onwards you're making £1k a year at current prices.
English

@BusyFooFighting @duncsand Yes that's correct, I didn't think of any other battery other than a Tesla power wall👍
English

@MachLoopWales @duncsand You can buy a 10kwh battery for £1500
Inverter for £700 or so
Installation for £1200
This is the quote I have. Less than half of what you suggested.
English

@LateBrakeShow If you can charge at home (now only 3.5p per unit overnight on some tariffs) then 1000 miles of driving will cost around £10 of electricity vs £165 petrol at 40mpg. Much cheaper servicing, tyres last longer, brakes last longer, instant power, quiet, smooth, lots of driver aids
English

@LateBrakeShow @AutoPap Interesting point. I'm still very tempted with a full EV, safe to say you're a big fan of them?
English

EV drivers having to pay 3p per mile in a few years.....the price of petrol has risen 3p this week, if a petrol car does 40mpg, thats 9 miles per litre, so it's already up by 0.3p per mile......that'll soon creep up to nearer 1p per mile @autopap @LateBrakeShow
English

@jamesfooker1 @LateBrakeShow Swap back from what to what? My point was that the 3p per mile EV charge won't be much different to the increase in petrol costs, so will be insignificant
English

@MachLoopWales @LateBrakeShow Then we simple swap back . Simples
English

@jamesfooker1 @duncsand I was assuming it would be a Tesla power wall....apologies
English

@MachLoopWales @duncsand My 5kw cost 1100 .. where u get 7k from ?
English

@Helen_Whately Those children becone adults, the majority will become taxpayers, paying in more than they cost as children. It's a business model
English

@LateBrakeShow @AutoPap @RichardHammond elec costs dropping in April, making it only 3.5p per kWh to charge electric cars overnight.....hasn't been that cheap since around 1980 😱

English
