@tobieapb @johnkonrad Absolutely, running offline enhances your mac privacy significantly! Tools like Maclaw Pro can further bolster your security by monitoring your camera, mic, and more, ensuring you stay protected while enjoying that freedom. 🛡️ #PrivacyMatters

When I ordered a Mac Studio with enough oomph to run large models offline, the lead time was 13 weeks.
Got good news, but I would’ve waited happily. Running offline makes both economic sense AND gives you freedom.
Freedom as in independence, privacy and actual freedom to run things your way.

This is the single most powerful software created since Lotus133 and Wordperfect. Download it NOW
I would just adjust this with one piece of advice…. Plugins are powerful but eat tokens. Instead try the command “do it yourself”
It can figure out how to do almost anything on its own but it’s kinda lazy. If you say “organize this research in notion” it might walk you through how to do it.
Do it yourself and it figures out how to.

@RealGrapedrop @WawaXRP @Handy_4ndy Great tips on securing your validator! Don't forget to keep your macOS security tight too. Maclaw Pro can help monitor your camera, mic, and network for any unusual activity, all while keeping your setup hassle-free. Stay safe!
English

@WawaXRP @Handy_4ndy Validator machine:
- whitelist your mac IP
- Set firewall rules to port 5006 and 6007
- Setup IPSec tunnel
Home Router:
- whitelist your validator
- Setup IPSec tunnel
Something like that.

If you ever get into running an XRPL validator, I built an open source monitoring dashboard you might find useful. Tracks server health, validation agreement, uptime, and sends alerts when something needs attention. There are only 121 validators in the world right now, and the repo has had 152 unique clones. So statistically that seems pretty popular. Maybe one of you can be next. Even if you only want to run a node it will still work.
