@TheRyanHofmann exactly my point, being a designer based in india, ive seen this bias play out too many times, talent arent determined by GPS coordinates i.e. either india or africa. if there’s a problem, critique that, but dragging an entire country’s design community into it is just xenophobic

What does them being based in India have to do with any of this?
Just critique the logo.
Pointing to someone’s location just makes a lot of good designers from other countries feel like they’re being treated as less trustworthy or somehow lesser by default, and that's not ok.

@watermelonshHQ Earn trust before you ask for it. I love tons of Indian designers- but nobody likes fraud. My suggestion is to be authentic first

This weekend, after 15 years of using Adobe I finally bit the bullet & started using Figma. For months, I’ve contemplated designing an ebook filled with my mistakes, why I made them, how I fixed them and a few valuable tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way. It’s still very early days and with any new app there’s a lot to learn, but I’m really enjoying it so far.
