Brand designers learn illustration — because identities need original visual language, not just layouts. Video editors learn motion design — because cutting footage is not the same as designing movement. Illustrators learn brand storytelling — because images now live inside systems, not just frames. Product designers learn UX writing — because interfaces are shaped as much by words as visuals. UI designers learn interaction design — because screens are judged by how they behave, not just how they look. Motion designers learn storytelling and pacing — because movement without intent is just animation. Specialists are still valuable. But the industry now rewards designers who can extend their craft beyond a single label.

ITfits is a contemporary lifestyle footwear brand built around stylish, comfortable, and versatile leather slides designed for everyday wear. Rooted in effortless fashion and intentional simplicity, the brand bridges the gap between comfort and statement-making design; creating pieces that seamlessly fit into different lifestyles, wardrobes, and identities. The name “ITfits” carries both functional and cultural meaning. On one hand, it represents comfort, precision, and the perfect fit. On the other, it draws inspiration from fashion culture; referencing “IT” style icons and the modern slang “fits,” meaning outfits, reinforcing the brand’s deep connection to personal style and self-expression. For the identity, the goal was to create a logo system that felt as intentional, stylish, and versatile as the brand itself. A bold yet minimal wordmark was developed to ensure timelessness, seamless application across touchpoints, and flexibility for future expansion into broader fashion categories. One of the strongest ideas behind the logo came through typography exploration. The selected typeface was chosen not just for its premium and contemporary feel, but also because its cuts, curves, and structural forms subtly resemble footwear sole patterns; creating a deeper connection between the brand identity and the product itself. The stylized “T” introduces contrast and personality into the wordmark, acting as a statement-making feature that reflects confidence, individuality, and intentional style. During exploration, the “I” and “T” were also transformed into a standalone geometric emblem that conveys balance, movement, precision, and craftsmanship while maintaining a minimal and memorable appearance. The result is a modern, premium, and future-ready identity system that merges comfort, craftsmanship, and effortless style into one cohesive visual direction. Let me know your thoughts on this masterpiece. Full project coming soon. . . I wanted to say that you outdid yourself on this, but i just remembered the marks you've created. But I think this is my best so far. It isn't the simplicity that it's built around, but the thought process. The ability to make it simple, yet memorable. Well done, Sir!

Some week, it feels like you're going down a dark path, a point of no return. You sense a decline in several aspect of your life. Other weeks you feel like the main character in a James bond movie. In other word... One minute I feel shit. Next minute, I'm the shit.

Came across this video a while ago and it's one of the best examples of values-driven leadership I can reference. It sums up Pep Guardiola's greatness over the years for me. I want to call out 6 things that helps you look at this beyond yet another "locker-room motivational talk", and see what you can take from it as you lead people. 1. "Do you think it's normal what we have done today?" — Pep goes straight for the lifeline of a team's culture: norm. The standards were down and he led with the rethoric question that "this is not acceptable". "My team is not like that." 2. "For the guys who travel... who don't have money to pay their heater at home?" — Pep deepens the WHY, as he reminds the players who they are doing this for, and what it means to them. You can't hear that and not wake up from your nonchalance! 3. "Down to earth... work harder" — Here he takes the chance to re-emphasize the values that matter and should drive every minute of action. 4. "The academy is waiting" — He brings a necessary dagger here. High-performing teams must be teams, not families, however warm that language feels. A good culture can feel like family, but unlike families who can't replace siblings, good teams have to replace people when they stop meeting the standard. Pep reminds them that others are waiting to take their place. Used carelessly and in every situation, that message can damage trust. But in the right moment, as part of a larger call to meet the standard, it was just perfect. 5. "You can say it's Carabao Cup... it's going to happen in Champions League and Premier League" — This is one of the best parts as he reminds his team that what you do in the little moments and situations eventually carries on to the bigger moments. Your values have to be consistent, regardless of the size of what you are doing per time. Even more urgency of the implication: "my team is not like that... we'll be in trouble". 6. "You are not hungry" — This can be useful in the right moment. You encourage people. You call out the best in them. But when they keep acting beneath that standard, you may need to confront them with the thing they least want to hear. I once asked an employee "do you really want to be here? Let's have a honest conversation, do you?" Those conversations can be critical. Pep walks out in the most dramatic fashion, after slowly staring at every single one of them in the eye: "Maybe I was confused." Masterclass 👏🏾
