More tire sets equals more ACTUAL strategy. Who would've thought? Wish some leagues on iRacing could understand this.

Probably the biggest thing I miss about cup racing—- having enough sets of tires for the CC’s to make calls to shake things up and make something happen. 9 group and AG did an amazing job in that last stage. Congrats to everyone @TeamHendrick and @TeamChevy

@Hosstheboss25 That's true. He held on for long enough that I understand the call. I'd be lying if I said that part wasn't a little bit of saltiness over the fact that he cost Larson the win at Darlington in 2024. THAT one was just a horrible horrible call.

@MaggioMagic10 The average caution for the race is with 50 to go. It didn’t come. So not as bad a call on the 1 as your making it out to be

Elliott winning because of a crazy strategy call after all I ever hear his fans do is complain about Alan. Ironic af. Also gotta love Ross staying out for no reason and costing the deserving the winner the lead, just like he did at Darlington in 2024. Was never going to work.

Everyone has been saying this for over a year now and nothing changes. If we have to have stages, can we at least make stage caution laps not count?

They should bring a 4th car in the fall.

I really hope @iRacing fixes this bug soon. It's been around for way too long now. Coming to the white flag and the entire field is wrecked by an issue that is 100% on iRacing. Such a huge bummer. I expect better for something we all pay so much money for.

Oppi finished in the top 5 to continue yet another consistent season. Rowan never gave up after an unfortunate wheel failure but sadly didn't get the needed yellows to get back on the lead lap. Jye get wrecked for the forth time in six races,,,,, Onto Gateway.

I really wonder why I bother with iRacing, every week it's something. First time I was ever legit running in the top 10 in @LeagueNitro just to get dumped and destroyed for no reason

@BrodySxmp I think 3 or 4 is acceptable, more of the league's preference. I always want more sets so people win based on speed and not guessing the cautions. I'd argue you get more strategy with 4 sets because with 3, you're more likely to have everyone play it safe and do the same thing.

@MaggioMagic10 I can get behind 4 for 90 but I’d like to avoid everyone coming down for tires every ten laps. Although I am not good at it I’d like to think what the best thing to do is.

Why does every league do this. So ridiculous. They'd rather you have to guess when cautions come out than actually race for the win.

I don’t throw hands sir, but if you aren’t allowed to fight or wreck someone because you either get fined or suspended. And nascar doesn’t police things like you see in IMSA. Then there’s zero opportunity for accountability other than going and aero blocking the guy for the next month straight🤓right?
